As a professor for multiple universities, I teach a wide range of subjects at the graduate and undergraduate levels. From Cyber Conflict and Statecraft to Risk Assessment, International Criminal Justice to Border Protection, my students often report they get more from one of my classes than from all the rest of their programs of study. So much so that in 2023 I was voted the Golden Apple Award as best teacher in the Disaster and Emergency Management Master’s Degree program in the Dr. Kirin C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University, ranked #4 in the U.S. for online emergency management degrees.

I also teach in multiple programs at Aurora University in Illinois; graduate courses for the National Security Affairs and International Relations programs at Nova Southeastern; and guide doctoral dissertation research for Capitol Technical University in Washington, DC.
